Econo™ Iris Dressing Forceps are thumb style forceps commonly used for placing or removing dressings in many types of procedures. Although Dressing Forceps were originally designed to specifically hold materials such as gauze, they have come to have a variety of additional functions. They may be used for removing foreign objects or dead tissue from wounds, as well as other small surgical materials such as tubing. Serrated jaws assist in a having a secure hold on items. Econo™ instruments are Sklar's floor-grade, disposable instruments and are sold in bulk quantities. This product is half curved with serrated tips and an overall length of 2-1/2 inches. It is sold in a box of 12.
