Sklar's® Schlesinger cervical laminectomy rongeur is a spinal orthopedic instrument with a sharp-edged scoop shaped tip. Laminectomy rongeurs are used for debulking and manipulation of the intervertebral discs and vertebral bones. The scooped cup tips are used for soft tissue or small amounts of bone. The Schlesinger is available in two cup sizes, either up-bite or down-bite.. This spring handled variety resembles the Love-Keririson, versus the finger ring varieties.
